Chef de Partie - Busy Countryside Hotel, Durham

From £13.00 per hour DOE + Service Charge + Paid Overtime • 45 Hours per Week • Full Time

Perfect Recruitment are proud to be working with a busy and well-established countryside hotel in the Durham area, currently looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join their growing kitchen team. A new Executive Chef has recently come on board and is focused on building a strong, committed core brigade capable of driving standards, developing the food offering, and supporting the hotel's future growth plans. This is a high-volume operation with multiple revenue streams, including restaurant service, events, functions and hotel guests. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining consistency under pressure and contributing to a positive team culture.

As Chef de Partie, you'll take ownership of your section, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to a consistently high standard. You'll work closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef, supporting service, maintaining kitchen standards and helping to deliver quality food across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to delivering quality food across the business in a high-volume environment
What they're looking for
  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Commis Chef ready to step up
  • Experience working with fresh food
  • Ability to run a section confidently during busy services
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and allergen management
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Team player who thrives in a busy kitchen environment
