Job Summary
We are seeking 2 skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the smooth operation of their designated section within the kitchen. Duties
Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Oversee the daily operations of a specific section within the kitchen, such as fish, meat, or pastry.
Assist in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or specials.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workstation in compliance with food safety regulations.
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients to ensure availability for service.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
Ensure all food prepared meets health and safety standards, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
Support junior kitchen staff through training and guidance where necessary.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards.
Previous restaurant experience is desirable, with a focus on high-quality service delivery.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Good understanding of serving procedures and customer service principles.
Formal culinary qualifications are advantageous but not essential if accompanied by relevant experience. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to advance their culinary career in a reputable establishment committed to excellence in hospitality.
