What will the role involve?The role of a Chef de Partie at Audleys Wood Hotel involves taking ownership of a designated section within the kitchen and supporting the delivery of an exceptional culinary experience for guests. Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef team, you will prepare, cook and present dishes to a consistently high standard, ensuring quality, care and seasonal flair in every service.
As Chef de Partie, your responsibilities include managing your section efficiently during service, maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety, and ensuring mise en place is completed to the highest level. You will support junior team members, monitor stock within your section, assist with menu preparation across the hotel, including private dining and special events, and help to ensure every dish enhances the guest experience.
This is a full time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business.

Previous experience in a professional kitchen, ideally within a quality hotel or restaurant environment, is required. You should have a good understanding of running a section and maintaining high culinary standards. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for food, learning and development are essential.
