Job Description
Chef de Partie Seamill Hydro Hotel And Resort Tides Restaurant

We're excited to introduce Tides, the fresh new restaurant concept at Seamill Hydro Hotel, part of the award-winning, family-owned RAD Hotel Group. We're looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

You will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and kitchen organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established Chef de Partie seeking greater responsibility, or a strong Commis Chef ready to take the next step in their culinary career. Depending on experience, the successful candidate may be appointed as a Senior Chef de Partie, with additional responsibility for mentoring junior chefs and supporting the wider kitchen operation.

Set on Scotland's stunning west coast overlooking the Firth of Clyde, Seamill Hydro Hotel offers a vibrant and dynamic work environment where you'll join a passionate team committed to delivering outstanding food and memorable guest experiences.

  • Support, train, and mentor Commis Chefs and junior team members
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workstation
  • Contribute ideas for menu development and new dishes where appropriate
  • Foster a positive and professional kitchen environment
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a Commis Chef or Chef de Partie in a quality hotel or restaurant environment
  • Experience in high-volume restaurants, banqueting, or weddings is advantageous
  • Professional cookery qualifications are desirable but not essential
  • Strong culinary skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to support and guide junior team members
  • A genuine passion for food and eagerness to learn and develop
  • Ability to perform calmly and efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering exceptional standards
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
What We'll Offer You:
  • Weekly pay (Highly Competitive Rate)
  • 4-weekly tips
  • Discounts across all 8 RAD Hotel Group venues (food, accommodation, events, and more)
  • Discounted gym membership at the Hydro Health Club
  • Staff meals while on duty
  • Fresh chef whites provided
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Clear career progression pathways within the group
