Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards
• Supervise and motivate junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Assist in menu development, recipe creation, and food costing
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and minimize wastage
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth service and exceed guest expectations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up
• Experience in Indian cuisine is preferred, inclduing cooking techniques, ingredients and recipes
• Culinary qualification from a recognized culinary institution preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Creative flair and a passion for culinary innovation
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
