Chef de Partie / Senior Chef de Partie Brig o' Doon House Hotel Full-Time

We are looking for 2-3 talented individuals to join our kitchen team. Depending on your experience and skills, you will be offered a role as either Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie. This is an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for a kitchen section, develop your skills, and contribute to the high culinary standards of our hotel.

Part of the award-winning, family-owned RAD Hotel Group, Brig o' Doon House Hotel is a renowned destination for weddings, events, and hospitality. Enjoy breathtaking views of the River Doon, Burns Monument, and the historic Brig o' Doon itself, the iconic setting for the dramatic climax of Robert Burns' famous poem, Tam o' Shanter.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage a section of the kitchen and ensure smooth operation.
• Execute dishes according to recipes and standards, maintaining consistent quality and presentation.
• Strictly adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Monitor stock levels for your section and assist with ordering and rotation.
• Support and guide Commis Chefs and junior team members.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace at all times.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and professional kitchen environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Commis Chef, Chef de Partie, or Senior Chef de Partie in a quality restaurant or hotel.
• Professional cookery qualifications are desirable but not essential.
• A strong passion for food and eagerness to develop your culinary skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team-player attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent results.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
