About The Role

We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our team at the stunning attraction site Burghley House in Stamford.

As a Chef de Partie you will, prepare, cook, and oversee food production while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, safety, and efficiency. The Chef de Partie ensures consistency in food preparation, portion control, and adherence to company recipes and production schedules.

Your Key Responsibilities as a Chef de Partie will be: Food Preparation & Production
  • Prepare and cook food according to standardized recipes and production planning.
  • Ensure presentation and portion control.
  • Monitor food quality during preparation and service.
  • Assist in menu execution and development when required.
Operational Efficiency
  • Follow daily production plans and schedules.
  • Minimize food waste and control production costs.
  • Ensure correct storage, labelling, and stock rotation.
  • Maintain accurate production records.
Health, Safety & Hygiene
  • Adhere to food safety regulations (HACCP standards).
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Ensure compliance with allergen controls.
  • Conduct temperature checks and food safety logs.
Inventory & Stock Control
  • Assist with stock ordering and inventory checks.
  • Monitor ingredient usage and report shortages.
  • Ensure proper storage of perishable and non perishable goods.
Teamwork & Communication
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams.
  • Train and support junior kitchen staff when required.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding production issues.

  • Be passionate about delivering top quality food.
  • Manage the kitchen in the absence of the head if away to cover holidays.
