Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDP to join our culinary team. As a CDP, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Your expertise in food preparation and cooking will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area
Assist with meal preparation and plating of dishes for service
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report shortages as needed
Follow proper food storage procedures to minimise waste
Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices
Experience
Previous kitchen experience is essential, preferably in a restaurant setting
Culinary experience with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
Experience in serving or front-of-house roles is advantageous but not required
A passion for cooking and a desire to learn and develop culinary skills
