We are looking for an established Chef de Partie, or someone ready and willing to take the next step in their kitchen career where full training will be given, to join our established and loyal team. This is a permanent position, with a starting salary of £30,000, based on age & relevant kitchen experience, working an average of 45hrs per week. This role does involve working split shifts, so ideally would suit a candidate with own transport.
The Boars Head Kitchen operates 7 days per week and is open to residents for breakfast and we additionally cater for non residents both lunch & dinner.
In this exciting position you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of food preparation and production and you will get the opportunity to work across both the Boars Head & Tearooms kitchens on the Estate. This offers an exciting variety in menu styles and responsibility.
Responsible to: Head Chef
You will also assist with:
The day to day planning and running of the section/sections
Maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen areas and high standards of personal hygiene.
Completion of daily records and temperature control checks
Helping and supporting others in the team as and when required
Assist with ordering and maintaining of adequate stock levels
Check incoming deliveries meet Company standards
