We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team of a renowned bistro-style lounge outlet in the heart of Dublin. With a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients and a menu that blends modern culinary techniques with classic flavors, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative kitchen team.

About the Role

As Chef de Partie, you will work alongside a talented team to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen, delivering exceptional dishes that meet the high standards expected of this stylish and elegant venue. You'll help create a range of dishes using the finest ingredients, from signature bistro favorites to seasonal specials. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills in a high-end yet relaxed dining environment, working in a well-equipped kitchen that values quality, consistency, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard
  • Assist with the development and execution of the menu, ensuring the best use of seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients
  • Manage a section of the kitchen, maintaining organisation and cleanliness at all times
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and manage ingredients to minimize waste
  • Train and develop junior kitchen staff to ensure they grow within the team
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, ideally in a high-end bistro or hotel kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of modern cooking techniques and high standards of food presentation
  • Passion for using fresh, seasonal produce and creating innovative dishes
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
  • Strong communication skills and a team-player mentality
  • A good understanding of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in food hygiene
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy service periods
Salary

€17 - €18 per hour, depending on experience.
