About the Role:
As Senior Chef de Partie, you will manage your section during service, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to the high standards expected of a 4-star establishment. You'll be responsible for maintaining consistency, managing kitchen staff, and working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver exceptional food across various outlets. This role offers the chance to be involved in the creation of seasonal menus, special events, and the daily restaurant offerings. You'll play an essential part in ensuring smooth kitchen operations, helping to create memorable dining experiences for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee your section during service, ensuring food is prepared, cooked, and presented to the highest standards
• Work with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to create and implement seasonal menus, daily specials, and event menus
• Mentor and support junior chefs, ensuring their development and adherence to kitchen standards
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation in your section
• Ensure food safety and hygiene regulations are followed at all times
• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and minimize waste
• Help manage the section efficiently, ensuring smooth operation during service, even during busy periods
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure the overall success of the kitchen

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or in a similar senior kitchen role
• A passion for quality food, with a focus on fresh, local ingredients
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior chefs
• Previous experience in a hotel or high-end bistro environment is desirable
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Knowledge of food safety and health & safety regulations
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining high standards
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during peak service times
