Job Description

We are currently recruiting experienced Chefs to join our catering team supporting a major distribution centre in Aylesford.

Hours: Flexible / Ad-hoc shifts

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting meals in a high-volume catering environment.

  • Assisting with menu preparation, portion control, and food presentation.

  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, and safety regulations.

  • Monitoring stock levels and ensuring proper food storage practices.

  • Working efficiently alongside the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Requirements

  • Prior Experience: Proven experience working as a Chef in a busy, high-volume kitchen setting.

  • Qualifications: Relevant culinary qualifications or valid Food Hygiene certifications.

  • Flexibility: Comfortable working on an ad-hoc, shift-by-shift basis.

  • Work Ethic: Punctual, proactive, and able to deliver under fast-paced kitchen conditions.
