Job Description

The Chef role in Cambridge, offered through Berkeley Scott, involves preparing and cooking nutritious meals for students in schools managed by Impact Food Group. What You'll Be Doing as an Education Chef
  • Preparing and cooking nutritious, balanced meals for students and staff
  • Planning menus in line with school guidelines and dietary requirements
  • Ensuring high standards of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness
  • Managing stock, ordering supplies, and minimising waste
  • Supervising and supporting kitchen assistants during service
  • Adhering to all food safety and health & safety regulations
What We Are Looking For
  • Minimum 6 months experience as senior Chef - preferably in a school or similar environment
  • Right to work in the UK - sponsorship is not available for these roles
  • Enhanced DBS with child workforce or willing to obtain is essential
  • Strong, reliable, and excellent communication skills are essential
  • A passion for providing healthy meals for children and young people
  • Minimum Level 2 Food Safety and Allergens, as well as additional compliance training, is essential and will be provided free of charge for all applicants
  • Rates of pay are dependent on experience and/or the specific site/client
