A once thriving timber yard, our charming and ruggedly handsome building now welcomes visitors & locals of Stratford-upon-Avon as a riverside Taproom. Position

Your role as chef:

• Prepare, cook and present perfect food in accordance with company standards therefore exceeding guest satisfaction at every eating occasion
• Taking PRIDE in maintaining highest standards of cleanliness
• Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations at all times
• Adhering accurately and consistently to portion controls
• Carrying out stock rotation to ensure all food items are within their shelf life, including maintaining correct storage conditions
• Ensuring the kitchen operation is maintained to the highest of standards with regards to cleanliness and maintenance

Requirements

We're a fast paced, high volume site, so we're looking for someone who thrives in a busy kitchen and takes pride in delivering great food consistently.

• Minimum 6 months' chef experience in a similar environment
• Confidence to work on your own initiative, staying calm and organised during busy periods
• A genuine desire to learn, improve and develop, taking guidance from those around you
• A proud, standards driven individual who always strives to deliver their best
• Strong teamwork and communication, supporting the wider kitchen and FOH teams
• Reliability and a positive attitude, especially during peak service times
