Overview
We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our support team at a vibrant pub group working across half a dozen pubs and our events team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a flair for creating delicious dishes that delight our customers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen
- Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff
- Plan and prepare high-quality meals in line with our restaurant's standards
- Ensure food safety regulations are strictly adhered to
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Experience
- Proven experience working in a busy kitchen environment
- Strong culinary skills with expertise in food preparation and presentation
- Knowledge of food production processes and techniques
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
