Chef

St Johns Garden Centre is looking for a chef for our Ashford Garden centre, the position will suit a candidate requiring a good life to work balance as the hours are straight 8 hour shifts between 7am - 4pm. The job role will be to assist the head chef in the day to day running of the kitchen, preparing and cooking breakfasts and lunches for the restaurant. The candidate should have good knowledge of food safety and have good experience in working in a busy kitchen. Final hours and pay to be discussed and agreed.

Job Duties:

Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
Restock items as needed throughout the shift
Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
