We are on the hunt for a Sheridans monger to become our new Taster and Brand Ambassador as part of our marketing team.

This is a truly unique role and a step into a more senior position where you will be working as part of the marketing team and have increased responsibility. You'll travel to various locations across the country, setting up beautiful tasting stands in shops, markets, and events, giving people the chance to fall in love with our cheeses and specialty foods just like you have.

Whether you're looking for a part-time (3 over 7), full-time adventure (a blend of counter/shop cheesemonger work in locations and on the road tastings) or something more flexible that works around your schedule - we're open to both!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Travelling to our locations across Ireland to set up and deliver cheese and specialty food tastings to new and returning customers.
• Telling the stories of our passionate producers and cheesemakers with enthusiasm and knowledge.
• Engaging warmly and confidently with the public, answering questions, offering pairings, and guiding them through our range of incredible cheeses.
• Setting up and taking down tasting stands, keeping everything clean, safe, and beautiful.
• Driving your Sheridans van (we'll provide it!) from place to place.
• Working independently but with strong support from our marketing and management teams. We'll train you up and keep you stocked and supported.
• Direction, suggested pairings or 'focus foods' will be communicated by the marketing and sales teams however real time/on-site decisions about the different tastings and foods used will be part of the position.
• Tastings can include in-store events as well as offsite events.

What We're Looking For:

• Cheese-mad foodie and proud of it.
• A great storyteller who loves people and conversation.
• Experienced cook comfortable using kitchen equipment including but not limited to knives, induction hobs etc.
• Able to make beautiful taster bites within the tasting space using simple ingredients and all our fabulous Sheridan cheeses and foods.
• Able to work with marketing team to set objectives and schedule.
• Resourceful and able to work independently and self manage your schedule.
• Full, clean driving licence - essential.
• Comfortable with flexible hours and locations. Work includes some evenings and weekends.
• Reliable, tidy, and organised, with a good eye for detail.
• Bonus points if you have retail or food service experience, but it's not essential.
