California Spirit Elite is seeking additional staff for our growing facility! Instructors with a strong knowledge in cheer, stunts and tumbling are preferred. Training is available for all levels of coaches. The ideal candidate is reliable, passionate, energetic, positive attitude, hard working, professional and a true love for kids!

Full Job Description

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching and hand on spotting of stunts, tumbling, jumps, choreography/motions.
• Attending local competitions if asked to be a team coach.
• Leading recreational classes for beginning cheerleading, tumbling and jumps.
• Attending mandatory monthly coach meetings.
• Teaching additional cheerleading and tumbling classes or clinics.

Requirements:

• Create a coach profile on USASF (United States All Star Federation).
• Pass a background check ($55).
• Become Safesport trained or complete an equivalent Child Abuse Prevention Education course.
• Pass the USASF baseline coaching courses.
• Three years or more prior cheerleading experience (preferably competitive or all star).
• Three years coaching experience in all team coaching positions.
• Knowledge of USASF rules and tiers, or willingness to learn them.
• Experience and passion for teaching children in all skill areas (ages 4 18).

Benefits include

• USASF membership fee covered and two tops and jacket provided.
• Opportunity to take courses toward USASF coach certification in building and tumbling.

Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday.
• Minimum 8 10 hours per week.
• Night and weekend availability required for all positions.

Our Cheer Gym is centrally located in Dublin, CA, with modern equipment ensuring safety and success of gymnastics and cheer instruction. We train All Star Cheerleaders from the Tri Valley area including Danville, Dublin, Castro Valley, Livermore, Hayward, Pleasanton, Fremont, Alameda, Oakland, San Leandro, San Ramon, Lafayette, Orinda, Walnut Creek, Patterson, Tracy, and more.

Employment

California Spirit Elite accepts applications for multiple positions within our gym. These are full or part time with pay depending on experience, credentials, demonstrated skills and responsibilities assigned. CPR & First Aid certification, full criminal background check, and full reference check are required prior to acceptance of employment.
