Job Type: Part Time

Blackpool Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic is seeking a Chartered Physiotherapist to join our experienced and supportive team in our well-established clinic in Blackpool, Cork. The clinic is based just minutes from the city centre with easy access to the amenities, coastline and outdoor activities that make Cork such a great place to live.

For over 15 years, our clinic has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality physiotherapy care and has developed excellent relationships with GPs, consultants and the local community, resulting in a consistent and diverse referral base.

This is an excellent opportunity for a physiotherapist who enjoys working with a broad musculoskeletal caseload and values working within a collaborative team environment with strong clinical support.

The Role

The successful candidate will work with a varied and interesting caseload including musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries, rheumatology, orthopaedic rehabilitation, persistent pain presentations and women's health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Room-based musculoskeletal physiotherapy consultations
  • Working alongside highly experienced Chartered Physiotherapists including a Clinical Specialist
  • Excellent peer support and regular clinical discussion
  • Access to our fully equipped Clinical Pilates studio, with opportunities to develop or teach classes if interested
  • Excellent administrative support from our in-person reception team and practice management systems
  • Managing a consistently busy and varied caseload due to our long-established referral network
Professional Development

We place strong emphasis on supporting the professional development of our clinicians and offer:

  • Regular in-service CPD
  • Informal case discussions and clinical mentoring (if required)
  • Opportunities to develop specialist interests within the clinic such as women's health and Pilates
Requirements

Essential

  • CORU registered Physiotherapist
  • Member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (or eligible)
  • Minimum two years in Musculoskeletal physiotherapy

Desirable but not essential

  • Dry needling
  • Clinical Pilates training
  • Women's health experience
