Charity Treasurer

We are looking for a treasurer for The Loughborough Bellfoundry Trust. We are a small to medium-sized charity with an annual income of approximately £250,000. We operate a small museum on the site of John Taylor and Co., the last remaining bell foundry in the UK. Our mission is threefold: conservation, education, and celebration of all things bell-related. We welcome visitors from around the world to explore our museum, take tours of the historic foundry, and research in our archives.
We have recently completed a multi-million pound heritage lottery restoration project. Now, our focus is on maintaining financial resilience as a small, independent heritage attraction.
The role involves working with the trustees and the managing director to monitor our finances, ensure our reporting is current and compliant (we are VAT registered), and provide sound financial advice as needed.
We estimate the commitment to be close to half a day a month, occasionally more.
