Job Description

The role sits inside IR35

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Change Manager with in-depth expertise in SAP / ERP implementations, specialising in business process reengineering and optimisation. This individual will play a pivotal role in transforming and streamlining our business operations by driving change management initiatives, ensuring effective adoption of SAP S/4HANA, and aligning cloud solutions to meet our business goals.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, design optimised business processes, and manage stakeholder engagement to ensure a smooth transition to the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environment.

Key Tasks
  • Change Management Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of change management activities, ensuring changes are effectively communicated, and adopted by the business. Develop and manage detailed change management plans.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business leaders, project managers, and IT teams to understand change impacts and develop strategies to address them.
  • Business Process Adoption: Ensure changes to processes are effectively documented and communicated to the effected teams and wider business.
  • Implementation: Collaborate with all departments including IT and functional teams during the cutover from current systems to the new SAP environment.
  • Communication Strategy: Develop and execute communication plans to keep stakeholders and the wider business informed and engaged throughout the project go-live process and into business as usual operations.
  • Training and Support: Working with the HR training team for the creation of appropriate training material, co ordinate the delivery of end user training for the new systems and updated processes.
  • Resistance Management: Identify potential resistance to changes and develop strategies to mitigate these challenges.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor the progress of change management activities and report on their effectiveness. Provide regular updates to senior management.
Previous Experience
  • Proven experience in delivering change management strategies for large-scale SAP / ERP implementations or similar ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with established change management frameworks
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in public cloud SaaS implementation projects, ideally within Manufacturing environments
  • Demonstrated experience in business process reengineering and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to analyse complex business challenges and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Experience in working with cross functional teams in dynamic and fast paced environments.
  • Excellent inter personal and communication skills, able to influence, persuade and negotiate with people at all levels (externally & internally) as well as to assist in reaching compromises when there are conflicting requirements
  • High degree of organisation, self motivation and able to work autonomously and using own initiative
  • Good team working skills, together with the ability to interface with others at all levels
  • Good presentation skills and customer facing skills Results orientated with a strong drive to deliver

Location

The role is based in our Head Office in Guildford, with a minimum of 4 days in the office and optionally working 1 day per week from home if the role allows.
