This is a technical role within the Change Team, working closely with the Change Lead to ensure changes are undertaken in a controlled manner and within the technical constraints of the system. Working to defined processes, procedures, and document standards, you will support the full life cycle of the change process, from assisting customers in determining and documenting their requirements, advising on the "art of the possible", through to the delivery into the production environment.
If you have great communication skills, are organised and committed to maximising our use of clinical applications to improve the care we give to patients then this is the role for you.
Main duties of the jobThe purpose of this role is to provide critical support to the teams working on our Trust's Electronic Patient Record systems, including Rio and IAPTUS and clinical applications such as e-RS and Attend Anywhere. You will support the development of system changes which will improve the experience for staff and aid in improving the service they can offer to patients.
You will also liaise with customers from the initiation of a request for change, ensuring that all relevant information is gathered throughout the lifecycle of a change.
Work closely with the Systems Administration & Configuration Technicians and Systems Administration & Configuration Lead to discuss service requirements and ensure best practice as required.
Assist the Change Lead in managing the update and communication of the Change Schedule, a list of approved changes and their scheduled implementation dates.
