Position Summary

This team will be part of the online experience team so will benefit from being close to customer data and close to all elements of the customer experience across the website. The successful candidate will need to work very closely with the product, marketing and commercial teams, from whom you will capture their priorities and balance with the needs of the customer. This will involve ongoing conversations about trading priorities, product launches and promotional and brand campaigns. Constantly thinking about how we can best position our products and brand in order to resonate with the customer and increase conversion rate, average order value and sales.

Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

  • Role purpose - Drive UK's growth by owning the end-to-end experience and commercial performance of your product categories. You'll blend UX, site merchandising, CRO, and online marketing to boost digital KPIs and elevate the online brand experience.

You will:

  • Own ecommerce performance - Manage product listings, promotions, campaign execution, and pricing to deliver against targets. Use analytics and A/B testing to optimise the user journey.

  • Lead UX and CRO strategy - Diagnose friction points, run testing programmes, define development roadmaps and prioritise improvements across desktop and mobile sites.

  • Project and stakeholder management - Take briefs from internal teams across local/global functions. Scope, resource and deliver digital projects on time and within budget. Present convincing arguments and progress updates to partners at all levels.

  • Develop campaign communications - Plan and execute integrated website communications - product launches, brand campaigns, promotions and UX enhancements. Ensure alignment with brand and marketing objectives.

  • Data-driven decision-making - Analyse site, campaign and commercial data (GA4, AA, Contentsquare,Excel), draw actionable insights, and present recommendations. Drive continuous improvement and share key findings across the organisation.

  • Agency and cross-functional leadership - Lead a virtual team of agency talent (account/project management, design, dev, QA) using agile methods. Collaborate with product, merchandising, supply chain, marketing, SEO, CRM, and performance teams.

  • SEO & content optimisation - Monitor SEO performance and user journeys; refine content, signposting, meta data and technical SEO to enhance organic visibility and onsite experience.

  • What we need for this role

Experience & Skills

  • 7 years in online marketing, ecommerce or UX strategy within a large multinational or consumer tech business.

  • Proven track record delivering end-to-end digital projects, product launches, and conversion-driven campaigns.

  • Expert in data analysis tools (GA4, AA, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to simplify and present findings.

  • Strong knowledge of SEO, CRO, UX principles and ecommerce platforms.

  • Skilled in managing agencies and virtual teams; experience with agile tools (Jira, Asana, etc).
