A professional assisting a lady living in the Whitchurch area of Cardiff with her morning routine and community activities.
She has General Torsion Dystonia and uses a wheelchair.
Hours of WorkEvery Tuesday and Friday, 6 hours each day. Ideally from around 10:00-10:30.
Rate of Pay£14.80 per hour.
Tasks Involved- Support with morning routine.
- Support in the community for activities she enjoys; on Fridays she likes to go into town on the bus, look around and have a coffee.
- Someone sociable with a good sense of humour.
- Reliable, dependable, punctual and committed.
- Manual handling training will be required and can be arranged.
Though a part time position, you will need to provide a National Insurance number. A probation period is required. Wages will be paid every four weeks, and you will receive 5.6 weeks of paid holiday on a pro rata basis. A DBS check must be applied for at no expense to you. The role cannot be performed in your own home.
