CCTV Drainage Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated CCTV Drainage Engineer to join our team working out of our Manchester Depot. This is a permanent full time role, working 47.5 hours per week

About the Role:

• Location: Eccles, Manchester
• Hours: 47.5 hours per week
• Weekend & evening work will be required at times
• Salary: Up to £14.95 p/h dependent on experience

Responsibilities:

• Operate CCTV equipment to inspect & assess the condition of foul and surface water drainage systems
• produce accurate reports and condition assessments using industry-standard software (Wincan)
• locate and diagnose drainage issues such as blockages, structural defects, infiltration and root ingress - provide recommendations for remedial action
• liaise with Project managers and engineers to deliver high quality survey data
• maintain and calibrate survey equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working order
• carry out confined space entries where required (with appropriate training and certification)
• provide support in emergency response situations involving drainage failures or flooding
• ensure daily job sheets, risk assessments and method statements are completed

Key skills required:

• Driver with less than 6 penalty points
• experience working with drainage CCTV surveys and coding
• Be able to travel to the Depot each day
• Ability to work in a 2 person team
• IT skills including Excel
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• OX19 Preferrable
• CSCS Card Preferrable

You'll be polite and respectful when dealing with customers and the public, and observe all health and safety procedures. Being flexible is essential, as some jobs may require early starts and/or weekend working.
