About The Role:Shift Pattern: 5 out of 7 which will include days, 12 hour nights and weekends. Early morning starts and 12 hour shifts.
The position is for a control room supervisor who will be responsible for the day to day running of the control room as well as patrolling the malls and back of house areas, attending incidents, carrying out daily checks, briefings and working alongside the Senior Supervisor. This position requires a CCTV licence, as well as a SIA door supervisor licence.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
- Act as a point of contact for clients and management regarding security matters
- Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Ensure the correct escalation of incidents in line with the incident escalation process, maintaining accurate records
- Oversee the operation of security systems, including CCTV, fire alarms, PA systems, VMS, Intruder/Panic Alarms, BMS, ANPR, radio, and phone systems
- Implement emergency procedures in accordance with the Incident and Emergency Plan
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security of the premises
- Provide training and guidance to security personnel, ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive security coverage
- Address any operational issues or challenges promptly, finding effective solutions to maintain smooth operations
- You must have the right to work in the UK
- Experience in a supervisory role within the security industry is preferred
- SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
- SIA CCTV licence is essential
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive and adaptable, able to respond to changing demands and priorities
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance
