IntroductionWine Steward (Caviste):
-
Daily stock control in the cellar and wine cellar
-
Preparing wine orders and replenishing the cellar stock from the central cellar
-
Preparing orders for mineral water, beer, and spirits
-
Refilling and mise-en-place in the cellar and all refrigerators
-
Checking stock against the wine list and communicating any changes to the central F&B office
-
Preparing orders for the bar and kitchen and delivering them
-
Preparing all beverages for banquets and aperitifs
Commis de Rang:
-
Supporting the Chef de Rang in all tasks
-
Mise en place and clearing duties
-
Serving food and beverages (half board and à la carte)
Your main tasks

Central staff accommodation in the heart of Zermatt

Completed vocational training in the hospitality industry (restaurant specialist or similar) is desirable

Initial professional experience in upscale gastronomy/hospitality is an advantage

Very good command of German and English; French is an asset

Experience with an international clientele

A host personality with excellent interpersonal skills
