Job Summary

Catering Assistant at Wylesfield. Salary: £13.45 per hour. Working hours: 21 hours per week. Shift: 11:00 - 18:30.

Responsibilities

Work under the direction of the Chef and the Catering Team to ensure that delicious home cooked meals are prepared for residents. Duties include:

• Assist the chef with food preparation.
• Independently prepare hot meals and sandwiches for residents.
• Load and unload the dishwasher and wash equipment unsuitable for the dishwasher.
• Clean kitchen and equipment; keep areas clear of refuse.
• Collect and distribute crockery from/to the care floors.
• Clear tea trolleys where applicable.
• Carry out reasonable requests as instructed by the Senior Chef/Chef.
• Ensure the nutritional needs of residents are met.
• Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Policy and Regulations.
