We'd like you to join us as a Catering assistant at our Blackheath rehabilitation Centre. At Blackheath Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, we are specialists in the treatment of patients over the age of 18 with physical and cognitive impairments and/or neuropsychiatric disorders resulting from a brain injury or other neurological condition. We support our patients through assessment, rehabilitation, support and care across two wards. What you'll be working: Full time 37.5 hours a week Will include some weekends and bank holidays £25,400.16 (FTE) per annum pro rata What you'll be doing: To work closely with the catering team ensuring a high-quality food service for the patients / service users and staff Key Accountabilities: Prepare and cook food to meet requirements of planned menus. Preparation of the staff restaurant and vending areas for service as required. Presentation and service of staff meals and beverages. Preparation and distribution of all function and hospitality work across the site. Assisting in the assembly and distribution of patient meals where required ensuring that temperatures of food are monitored and recorded. Operation of the dishwashing machine as required. Ensure all equipment used in the kitchen and dining room is clean and hygienic. Assist the Chef in preparing for special functions as required. Ensure any special dietary instructions are correctly followed.
