As a Catering Assistant at Daytona Sandown Park, you'll support food preparation, food service and customer service operations during our racing events. Working as part of a busy catering team, you'll help deliver high-quality food, maintain excellent food hygiene standards and create a positive customer experience.

The RoleAs a Catering Assistant, you will support the day to day running of the catering operation, helping prepare and serve food, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure customers receive efficient and friendly service.
This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team in a busy environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with food preparation and presentation in line with business requirements
- Serve customers efficiently and provide a friendly, professional service
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene at all times
- Support stock control, storage, and rotation of ingredients
- Assist with keeping kitchen and service areas organised and well maintained
- Work closely with the wider team to support events and busy periods
- Follow all health, safety, and food safety regulations
- Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or food service role (desirable)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Food hygiene knowledge or certification (preferred but not essential)
- Right to work in the UK
