School Catering Assistant

York outskirts - Term Time Only - Monday to Friday - £12.85 per hour

9.30am - 1.30pm

Would you like to help prepare and serve lunches to school children?

Due to their expansion we are looking for a school catering assistant to join the team at a local primary school on the outskirts of York:

Working with other members of the catering team you will:

• Work with the School Chef to prepare food
• Serve food to pupils
• Keep the kitchen area clean and tidy including pot wash duties
• Work Monday to Friday at a primary school on the outskirts of York

This would be an ideal role if you have some experience in catering, hospitality, food production or cooking and you are looking for a term time only position.

Due to the nature of the role an enhanced DBS check will be required.

You will be working for a Yorkshire Academy Trust who operate primary schools across North and West Yorkshire. Their kitchens are friendly and welcoming places with supportive management teams.

• 15 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• 9.30am - 1.30pm
• Term time only
