Category Merchant Manager FTC, Grocery Partnerships - 12 month fixed term contract (Job ID: ). This role is part of Amazon's Grocery business in the UK, focused on developing and managing Grocery Partnerships (3P) for delivery and click & collect services, with a focus on Same Day Delivery and expanding partnerships in new and existing cities.
Responsibilities- Support our Same Day Delivery Grocery service with multiple partners in existing and new cities.
- Establish and deepen relationships with Grocery partners to meet business targets.
- Develop and manage relationships, drive results, and demonstrate competency with business analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Marketing, Selection, CX, Seller Success, Expansion PMs, and Finance to ensure high quality service levels, expand selection, and drive sustainable growth.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external partners to meet deadlines and profitability goals.
- Aim to deliver best customer experience by building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating cross-functionally, and influencing key stakeholders across the organization.
- Lead data-driven initiatives, perform deep dives, and present progress to senior leadership.
- Drive end-to-end projects, including defining growth strategies and process improvements in early-mid stage initiatives.
- Bachelor Degree
- Experience in Buying/Planning or equivalent experience such as Management Consulting, Finance, Merchandising or Operations
- Proficiency with Excel and data analysis with demonstrated ability to identify root causes and scalable solutions
- Ability to operate strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- High degree of organization, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Strong business judgment, written and oral communication skills, and practical, common-sense approach
- High attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Highly innovative, flexible and self-directed
- Experience building relationships and driving growth with large retailers and eCommerce businesses
- Experience in e-commerce or retail
- Experience with databases, SQL
- Experience in Grocery
