About the Role

Amazon is seeking a smart, enthusiastic, hard-working, and creative individual to join as a Category Manager for the Baby Category.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Own and drive the scale-up of categories and critical customer-focused initiatives within the Grocery Category team in India.
  2. Share our passion and commitment for serving customers and making Amazon a preferred destination for Grocery shoppers.
  3. Balance thinking big with working through ambiguity while driving rapid experimentation.
  4. Make independent, data-driven decisions and work effectively with senior stakeholders internally and externally.
  5. Demonstrate independent problem-solving, strong communication skills, ownership, persistence, and leadership in managing projects.
  6. Adapt to evolving structures in a new space and lead a team to achieve organizational goals.
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with Excel.
  • 5+ years in retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and results delivery experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
  • Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing large data sets to drive performance and process improvements.
  • Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing, promotion, inventory management, and product development.
