Job Description

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our client in the Defence Sector, who is seeking a Category Manager for an initial 18-month assignment with an option to extend.

Location: Hybrid working - Reading

Essential Skills: The ideal candidates will have a proven Procurement/Commercial/Category Management background, with the following skills/experience:

  • Experience in Category Management & Category Strategies within the Defence, Nuclear or Central Government.
  • Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management & Contract Management
  • Experience in Public sector, End-to-end Procurement processes
  • Experience in Procurement Act 2023 & PCR 2015 - Desired
  • Experience in NEC 3/4 Contract Management - Desired
  • CIPS Certification - Desired
