Job Description
- Provide administrative and commercial support to the Buying team for assigned categories
- Support the broader Buying team as part of the central Category Administration Team
- Complete administrative tasks assigned by the Category Administration Manager ahead of deadlines
- Manage tasks as agreed between the Buyer and Supplier
- Provide regular, clear updates to senior stakeholders
- Identify risks in advance and work to mitigate them
- Work within critical path deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Maintain and set up product listings and promotions
- Set up, onboard, and manage suppliers
- Action price establishment and price changes
- Load media and review banners before they go live on the webshop
- Assist the Customer Centre with prompt responses to customer queries
- Support training on an ad hoc basis
- Adhere to Ocado Retail values and comply with GSCOP and Competition Law
- Strong administrative skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel
- Highly organised and able to manage changing priorities
- Excellent communication
- Previous experience in a fast paced commercial, retail or buying environment is preferable
- Ability to comply with GSCOP and Competition Law
Demonstrates strong administrative skills and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, while effectively managing tasks and priorities in a fast paced commercial environment. Capable of providing clear communication and updates to stakeholders while adhering to compliance standards such as GSCOP and Competition Law.
