Housekeeping Porter - About you

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning is desirable
• Driving license is desirable for the use of on-site vehicles
• Self motivation and enthusiasm in your work is key
• Confidence, enthusiasm and passion for your work and communication with colleagues
• A keen eye for detail, organisational skills and a flexible attitude

Aim of the Housekeeping Porter

To maintain the high standards in the hotel bedrooms and Treehouses supporting the housekeeping team

Key responsibilities of the Housekeeping Porter

• Assist General Assistants with ensuring all bedrooms and suites are guest ready
• Transport additional heavy equipment e.g. beds, mattresses and alternative furniture to the bedrooms and Treehouses
• Cleaning balconies, balcony furniture and railings, reporting any maintenance queries
• Be responsible for de scaling shower heads, bleach grouting in bathroom and toilets and general upkeep of bedroom
• Coordinate and supply bedrooms with special requests e.g. champagne, flowers, fruit bowls and gifts
