Casual Commis Chef

Bradford Theatres are recruiting Casual Commis Chefs to join the kitchen team at our iconic city centre venues - Alhambra Theatre, The Studio, St George's Concert Hall and King's Hall and Winter Garden, Ilkley. This is a wonderful opportunity to work across multiple sites, supporting and supplementing the existing kitchen team (Chef Manager, Senior Chef, Junior Chefs and other Casuals). Evening shifts generally finish at 20:00 - a rarity in the industry. Work may be available Monday to Sunday, including Bank Holidays, evenings and day time shifts, depending on the needs of the business at the four venues.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple sites.
• Support and supplement the existing kitchen team.
• Maintain the highest standards in a demanding kitchen environment.
• Adapt to rotating shift patterns, finishing at 20:00.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and update personal training.
• Working knowledge of Food Hygiene (Food Safety level 2 or 3) and relevant Health & Safety knowledge is desirable.
• Full training and uniform will be provided.
