Overview

A manufacturer of high quality cartonboard is looking for a seasoned professional to run its product finishing team.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of staff.
• Driving productivity and driving improvements in the production process.
• Cost control of labour, resources, consumables and scheduling of work.
• Control, organise and monitor the flow of materials, producing the highest quality product on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• Hands on and task orientated, able to operate gluing machinery as well as manage the team.
• Experience running a substantially sized team (roughly 40 production personnel).
• Initiative, confident decision maker, accurate and methodological approach to all projects.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work.
• UK resident with recent work experience in the print, packaging or paper sectors.
