Caretaker

Name of Head Teacher: Sarah Bolt

Salary: Grade/scale point: School Premises, Level 2, Scale 4, salary range: £27,814 to £29,499 including London Weighting.

Hours: 36 hours per week to be worked between 8.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m.; 52 weeks per year; holiday working times may vary. This will be a fixed term post for one year.

The Post:

We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and reliable caretaker to join our amazing staff team. The role of the caretaker is:

• to maintain the security of the school site;
• to undertake caretaking and basic maintenance duties as required;
• to ensure that safety and hygiene are of a high standard across the school;
• to monitor the cleanliness of the school site (an outside contractor cleans the school) and to keep toilets and other areas clean during the school day.

The Person:

You will need to be trustworthy and reliable; to have some relevant experience of maintenance, security and caretaking work and to have good spoken and written English.
