This role is being advertised by Brightwork who are recruiting for our Prestigious Education Sector client based in Edinburgh and we require a Temporary Caretaker / Facilities Asst for our clients site. Please note this role requires membership of the PVG Scheme to work in regulated sites.

Your Time at Work

Caretaker / Facilities Asst Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and understand all cleaning materials and chemicals used.
• Ensure low level maintenance, cleaning, security, and safety of school premises and grounds.
• Respond to helpdesk jobs, unlock/lock buildings, and carry out porterage and room setups.
• Perform PPM tasks including fire alarm tests and emergency light checks.

The role follows a rotational 4 shift system Monday to Friday: .
