- A minimum of two years' experience of working with children (either paid or unpaid capacity) preferably in a secondary education setting
- A recognised interest in the importance of Careers Education in a school
- Understanding of strategies needed to establish consistently high aspirations and standards of results and behaviour
- Demonstrates high expectations which inspire, enthuse, motivate and challenge students to achieve their best
- Ability to form strong relationships with students, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds and those with additional needs
