Community Care Worker - UK Visa Sponsorship Summary of Job

Duties and Responsibilities

• Help clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, clothing, grooming and mobility support
• Give medication according to established schedules and guidelines.
• Assist patients with meal preparation, nutritional planning and feeding, as appropriate
• Practice behaviour management approaches to foster pleasant interactions and mental health.
• Carry out minor housekeeping duties to preserve a clean and safe atmosphere
• Provide friendship and emotional support to alleviate loneliness or isolation
• Safely and responsibly transport clients to appointments, errands or social activities
• Monitor health condition, notify changes to healthcare experts and assist with basic nursing chores when appropriate

Experience in assisted living, nursing home care or home care settings is preferred but not required.

Excellent communication skills and empathic client interaction

Ability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends or holidays as needed
