Care Worker - Full and Part-Time

We are recruiting Care Workers to join one of our older people's services, with full time and part time hours available to support continuity of care and meet the needs of the service. This role is about building meaningful relationships, providing reassurance and delivering person centred care that supports dignity, independence and quality of life.
Whether you are working full time or part time, you will be part of a supportive team where your contribution is valued and recognised.
What your day could involve
- Supporting residents with personal care, mobility and daily routines
- Building positive, trusting relationships and offering emotional support
- Assisting with meals, hydration and promoting wellbeing
- Administering medication where trained and authorised
- Recording care accurately and contributing to handovers
- Working as part of a close-knit team to deliver consistent, high-quality care
- Supporting residents to live as independently as possible
About you
You will be caring, reliable and committed to supporting older people with dignity and respect. You may already have experience in a care role or be looking to develop your career in social care with the right training and support. You will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards it. You will be a member of the SSSC and PVG, or willing to join, and able to commit to either full time or part time working patterns in line with the needs of the service.

As we do our work in Christ's name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.
This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
