Home Instead is seeking compassionate and reliable Care Professionals to join our team in Barnstaple. As a Care Professional, you will provide non medical services to help our clients remain comfortably and safely in their own homes, enhancing their quality of life with dignity, pride, care, and compassion. Responsibilities- Uphold and reflect the core values of Home Instead.
- Provide companionship and engaging activities to promote mental and emotional well being.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing and toileting with sensitivity and respect.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Provide medication support where needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Document daily activities and promptly report any significant changes in a client's needs or condition to the appropriate supervisor.
- Genuine passion for providing care and support to older adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to pass a DBS check and provide satisfactory references.
- Access to reliable transportation is essential.
- Experience in caregiving is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Available to start at 8 am.
- Competitive hourly rate: £13.40 - £14.60 per hour.
