Care Home Manager / Registered Manager / Residential Home Manager - Surrey

Up to £70,000 DOE + £5,000 Welcome Bonus Residential Care

Care Home Manager, Registered Manager, Residential Home Manager, Nursing Home Manager, Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, Deputy Home Manager, Clinical Deputy, Senior Carer Team Leader - if you've led teams in older people's care and improved CQC outcomes, this role is designed to surface in every relevant Reed search. A current, valid Registered Manager registration is essential, along with proven, evidenced CQC improvement experience.

Commutable from East Grinstead, Crawley (RH10/RH11), Horley, Redhill, Reigate, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Horsham, Tunbridge Wells, Godstone, Oxted, Lingfield, Copthorne, Forest Row, Uckfield, Leatherhead, Dorking, Epsom, Purley, Caterham, Croydon, Gatwick, and wider Surrey/Sussex/Kent.

Care Home Manager Responsibilities

  • Lead a well-resourced residential care home
  • Maintain strong CQC compliance and governance
  • Manage audits, inspections, and action plans
  • Evidence improvements in CQC ratings and service quality
  • Develop and motivate a multidisciplinary team
  • Deliver safe, person-centred, high-quality care
  • Build strong relationships with families and professionals

What You Need

  • Current, valid Registered Manager registration
  • Level 5 Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience as a Home Manager, Deputy Manager, or Assistant Manager in older people's care
  • Proven track record improving or stabilising CQC ratings
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards
  • Confident leadership and decision-making skills
  • Evidence of managing inspections and regulatory engagement

Desirable:

  • NMC registration (RGN/RMN/RNLD)
  • Experience turning around services or maintaining Good/Outstanding ratings
  • Strong partnership-building skills
