We provide a wide range of services including Day, Residential and Respite supports to both children and adults in various locations across Dublin, Limerick and North Tipperary.

Avista is looking for candidates who are committed to supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities and their families, in a person-centred, community based, socially inclusive manner in accordance with our core values and ethos and underpinned by quality, best practice and research.

CARE STAFF (Day Services)

Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

REF: 94348

  • Minimum of Fully Completed FETAC/QQI level 5 in Healthcare qualification or (higher) equivalent comparable qualification.
  • Full clean manual/Automatic Irish driving licence. Requirement to drive service vehicles.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • Desire to support people to live their best lives and commitment to promoting the active engagement and participation of Service Users in their local communities.
  • Experience working within the area of intellectual disability and of working with people who have a diagnosis of Autism and behaviours of concern.
  • Willingness to support persons to develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.

Applicants should possess Level 1 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
