Care Assistant - Female Only

This role as a Care Assistant involves providing personal care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them to maintain their independence and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, everyday tasks, and provide comfort and reassurance to individuals in your care.
• Support people to remain independent and comfortable in their own homes.
• Position restricted to female applicants only as a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, due to the nature of providing personal care to women, where it is necessary to preserve their dignity and privacy.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Non-UK nationals must have the right to work in the UK with at least 12 months left on their visa; sponsorship is not available.
• No prior experience required; all you need is kindness. Full, free training will be provided, and career growth is supported up to QCF Level 5.

Qualifications

• No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. A full UK driving licence is required.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check

The role is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. A submission for Disclosure will be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
