Overview

Our client is looking to recruit a Carbon and Sustainability Impact Specialist with 3-5 years' experience in carbon calculations, specifically in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). The role is located in London with hybrid working on offer.

Responsibilities
  • Technical and analytical data processing and management of key sustainability metrics and KPIs.
  • Gathering and validating emission factors and carbon data across different sustainable innovation projects of the breakthrough innovation portfolio.
  • Preparing internal quality check reports to ensure accurate data.
  • Correlating innovation impact contribution to the broader organisational targets/KPIs.
  • Analysing carbon data and generating carbon reports.
  • Creating measurement tools for ESG impact measurement of innovations using carbon, water, and nature metrics aligned to external science-based target measurements.
  • Support overall admin tasks in project management of the BI pipeline (presentations, plotting graphs, spreadsheets, Power BI, etc.).
  • Develop, adapt, and monitor spreadsheets and/or Power BI dashboards to support project management of multi-stakeholders.
  • Respond to data-related queries and track these inquiries.
  • Analyse data to identify cross-functional trends, patterns and anomalies.
  • Support the setup of processes and systems to improve data efficiency.
  • Produce reports and charts to communicate data trends to non-specialists, providing essential support.
  • Present information generated from data to inform strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum a bachelor's degree, preferably in analytical or sustainability-related fields.
  • Knowledge of carbon footprint calculation and reporting is essential.
  • Analytical skills with strong expertise in Excel and other analysis tools.
  • 4+ years of analytical work experience, preferably in sustainability fields.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently on projects.
  • Willingness to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and accurately.
