The appointed application will play a pivotal role in maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere for all of our patients, visitors and staff. May close early due to number of applications.
Main duties of the jobThe Security / Parking Team provide a comprehensive car park and security service to the Hospital and Satellite sites in all weather and conditions.
In this front line service you will need to be polite, helpful, tactful but firm and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
If successful, you will have a great deal of contact with staff, visitors and members of the public, directing drivers to car parking spaces, clearing entrances for fire calls, responding to all security issues and answering general enquiries from our patients and visitors; so, a multitask approach is essential.

Person Specification Education- GCSE or Equivalent
- A level
- Working knowledge of CCTV and Access Control systems
- Working knowledge of car parking systems including ANPR
- Experience with other systems, such as parking enforcement
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Dealing with members of the public
- Experience with physical restraint
- PMVA level 2 training
- Knowledge of DoLS and MCA framework
- Working for the NHS
