  • Perks & Tools: Paid holidays, pension scheme, free on-site staff parking, diagnostic laptops, workwear provided, and smart technical support to make your daily job smoother.
About Us

Forget high-pressure corporate environments. Our Newport facility is a well-established, modern independent workshop highly rated for quality, engineering, and trust. We invest heavily in technology, providing specialist tools, advanced software, and a stable, innovative business structure that prioritizes its staff over rigid corporate targets.

Your Role

As a vital Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic in our Newport workshop, you will:

  • Handle mechanical repairs, engine work, routine servicing, and general preventative maintenance.
  • Lead on diagnostics, tuning, and fault-finding using specialist on-site tools and software.
  • Manage MOT failure diagnosis and rectifications to get vehicles back on the road safely.
  • Use tablet-based systems to manage digital job cards, update work logs, and maintain repair accuracy.
  • Collaborate productively with a close-knit technical team to keep the workshop operating smoothly.
What You Need
  • Qualifications & Experience: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. Time-served technical experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic is highly considered. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
  • Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
  • Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools and feel confident using digital diagnostic systems. Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
